Prior to establishing Bradawn, Dawna spent eight years working in the underwriting and actuarial departments of two major insurance companies where she was responsible for the underwriting of both self-funded and fully-insured medical, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability plans. Her clients included a large California school pool (50,000 employees), an international beverage distributor (25,000 employees) and a nationwide transportation system (100,000 employees). Dawna's technical expertise and experience are the cornerstone of Bradawn's reputation as a leading benefits consulting firm.
Heather has over 13 years' experience in the field of employee benefits and consulting, including Account Management with two of the nation’s leading Third Party Administrators (TPA’s). Her duties include RFP preparation and analysis, financial monitoring and performance, communication design and overall account oversight. Heather’s diverse experience and financial management skills have made her one of Bradawn’s leading consultants.
Bettina has been in the employee benefits insurance industry for over 16 years. Prior to joining the Bradawn team in 2012, she was an Account Manager for one of the country's largest health insurers, where she was responsible for managing commercial and public entity accounts with 5,000 or more employees. Her current duties include RFP preparation and analysis, financial monitoring and performance, benefit consulting, and overall account oversight. Bettina's extensive background and financial management skills have made her one of Bradawn's leading consultants.
Jennifer has over six year's experience in the field of employee benefits, including account and project management for a large California-based Third Party Administrator. As a member of the Bradawn team, she brings expertise in the administration and management of complex employee benefits plans for large employers in the healthcare industry and private and public sectors. Her duties include financial management and reporting, data analysis, RFP preparation and analysis, and overall account oversight.
Brian Edmonson, Controller
Brian has been providing financial management, claims analysis and technical support as the CFO of Bradawn, Inc. since 1993. He is instrumental in the analysis of claims data, budget performance and the operation of custom client financial reports, billings and data analysis.
Roger is a senior healthcare actuary with over 15 years'
experience in actuarial consulting working for GE Capital
Corporation, Premera Blue Cross and
Mercer Human Resources Consulting. Roger serves as lead actuary
for organizations from 30 to 30,000 employees, using his
actuarial expertise to review and analyze benefit costs.
Brian is the president of Lexmond Communications, a consulting
firm specializing in employee communications. Brian’s Human
Resources background spans over 20 years and includes providing
effective communication solutions to clients covering a range of
human resource matters in the areas recruiting, compensation,
employee benefits, wellness, training, change management, total
rewards and more. Brian works with clients in developing short
and long-term communication strategies integrating print and
online communication channels.
